Gestion des sols contaminés

The ‘in situ’ use of the SOLTEC process has, since its commercialisation, been used to environmentally rehabilitate many sites contaminated with various kinds of petroleum products. Many cleanups have been carried out under buildings and public roads, using vertical or horizontal injection wells, with authorizations issued by the governmental authorities responsible for the application of environmental law.

Cases treated by our technology include many kinds of soil and groundwater contamination: leaks from gasoline/diesel fuel tanks, solvent spills, leaks of lubricating oils, spillage and leaks of heating oil arising from pipe ruptures, etc. These jobs have been carried out in industrial and commercial settings, as well as residential.

Two articles presenting a case of ‘In situ’ treatment have been published:
- La revue des Ingénieurs municipaux du Québec, Contacts Plus (summers 2009) (See article).
- La revue de Réseau environnement, Vecteur (May 2010) (See article).
